Role Description
The Trainee Paraplanner role is a full-time, initially on-site position based in Windsor. After training a hybrid approach will be available. The role involves supporting financial planners by preparing suitability reports, conducting product and investment research, and assisting with the construction and maintenance of financial plans. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analysing client information, updating records and documentation, and ensuring all advice files meet regulatory and internal compliance standards. The Trainee Paraplanner will also help prepare meeting packs, follow up on adviser and client actions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes. Direct client interaction will be encouraged. As skills develop, the role offers the opportunity to take on more complex case work and progress within the financial planning profession.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation or interest in Finance, Investments, and Financial Planning.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and assess client needs.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate report writing and documentation for client advice.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Team player
- Proficiency with office software (e.g. spreadsheets, word processing) and willingness to learn financial planning tools such as Voyant, FE Analytics etc.
- Relevant academic background (e.g. finance, economics, business, or related field) and/or willingness to progress toward a recognised financial planning qualification (such as diploma-level study) is beneficial although not essential.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, continuous professional development, and working collaboratively within a small team environment.
