Role Description
The Trainee Paraplanner role at Pinnacle Financial Planning is a full-time, on-site position based in Sambourne. The Trainee Paraplanner will support financial planners by preparing suitability reports, assisting with financial research and analysis, and helping to create client-focused financial planning solutions.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Gathering and organizing client data
- Updating internal systems and records
- Producing clear documentation that aligns with regulatory requirements and internal standards
The role also involves:
- Liaising with advisers and support staff
- Following up on outstanding information
- Ensuring that client files are maintained accurately and efficiently

Qualifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and prepare accurate reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with common office and financial planning software, including spreadsheets, word processing, and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a client-focused approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Sambourne, showing initiative and willingness to learn.
- Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in finance, economics, business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Interest in pursuing professional financial planning or paraplanning qualifications (e.g., industry-recognized certifications) is an advantage.
