Trainee/Parts Advisor at Shelbourne Motors

Hours of Work

  • Monday – Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Alternate Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm

Salary

£21,440 - £34,200 OTE - depending on experience

The Role

As a Trainee Parts Advisor, you will be trained to provide excellent service to our internal and external customers on a daily basis and in a timely manner.

The role involves:

  • Selling parts to internal & external customers to achieve the agreed targets
  • Optimising sales opportunities
  • Order taking via the telephone, email, and face to face
  • Order picking
  • Carrying out daily/weekly stock checking
  • Systematically arranging the parts in the stock room
  • Assisting with the pre-picking of parts for service workshop team
  • Delivering parts to our trade customers

The Person

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and willing to learn. Having a friendly outlook with a positive, can-do attitude is essential. Everything else we can teach you. It is essential for the successful candidate to have a valid clean driving licence as you may on occasions be required to deliver parts to our customers.

Ideally, you will have a track record of working hard, preferably with a customer-facing or stores role. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
