Trainee Quality Technician
£12.71 - £13.46 per hour + 1.5x Overtime + Full Training + Career Development

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning UK manufacturer specializing in 100% organic, plant-based products. The company has grown from a small two-person operation into a respected producer supplying major wholesalers and retailers across the UK. You will join a modern BRC-accredited manufacturing facility and play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and compliance.
This varied role will see you working closely with Production and Technical teams, carrying out product inspections, monitoring manufacturing processes, completing quality documentation, and ensuring products meet customer and company specifications. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within food quality and technical operations.

This role would suit someone looking to get into Quality Assurance coming from a manufacturing background or similar, or with any relevant qualifications, looking to join a company that offers full training from the ground up, overtime to boost earnings, and opportunities to progress.
The Role:
- Monitoring daily production activities to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards
- Carrying out routine quality checks, inspections, and sampling throughout the production process
- Completing online quality checks in line with site procedures and testing frequencies
- Ensuring full product traceability is maintained and all records are completed accurately
- Reviewing and verifying daily production paperwork to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
The Person:
- Looking to get into Quality Assurance
- Background in a manufacturing environment or similar
- Degree / any experience in manufacturing
- Commutable to Tiverton
