The Company - Trainee Recruitment Consultant

I'm currently working with a market-leading financial recruitment business that's looking to hire 4 Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join their growing London team.

This business specialises in placing talent across hedge funds, investment banking and the wider financial markets, partnering with some of the biggest names in the industry. Established less than 10 years ago, they've built an outstanding reputation and have grown internationally, with offices in London, New York, Sydney and Vancouver.

You'll receive hands-on training from experienced recruiters, work in a high-performing team and have a clear route to progressing your career. Promotions are based on performance, not how long you've been there.

What's on offer? – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • £28,000 base salary, increasing to £30,000 after 6 months
  • £65k+ realistic first-year earnings

The role - Trainee Recruitment Consultant

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll become a specialist within the financial markets, managing the recruitment process from start to finish.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Speaking with finance professionals to understand what they're looking for in their next move
  • Building relationships with investment banks, hedge funds and financial institutions
  • Winning new business and growing existing client accounts
  • Headhunting high-calibre candidates for live vacancies
  • Managing candidates throughout the interview process
  • Negotiating offers and handling the recruitment process through to placement
  • Keeping up to date with market trends to become an expert in your niche
  • Building a strong network of clients and candidates that generates repeat business
  • Working towards individual and team targets in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
