TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT | SPECIALIST TECH RECRUITMENT | CITY OF LONDON

Start date: ASAP
Location: The Royal Exchange, Bank, London
Package: Base salary negotiable on experience, plus uncapped commission
Realistic first year earnings: £40,000 to £50,000

Graduated recently, or sold something before and want more from it?

We are hiring trainees onto our sales floor in the City. No recruitment experience needed. What you earn here is decided by your drive and your results, and nothing else.

What we are looking for:

  • Driven. You want the scoreboard, and the top of it
  • Resilient. Long cycles and hard weeks do not knock you off
  • Confident. You build rapport fast, on the phone and in a room
  • Curious. You will learn one market properly rather than skim five
  • Ambitious. You want more than a job, and you will go after it

Sales experience helps. A degree helps. Neither is essential. We hire for appetite.

Who we are:

Enertek Group places specialist people into enterprise change programmes across Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

We work through four dedicated desks, each led by someone who lives in that market: SAP, Microsoft, Cyber and Cloud Security, and Manufacturing Leadership. Our clients are Industrial Manufacturing and Life Sciences businesses running programmes they cannot afford to get wrong.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • 100,000+ pre vetted experts in our network
  • 65+ countries covered
  • 4 specialist desks

We are deliberately specialist. We would rather be the first call in one market than a name on a list in ten.

How you will be trained:

You will be trained by the Head of the desk you join. Not a generic induction programme, not a training provider brought in for a fortnight. The person who built that market teaches you how to work it, and they sit next to you while you do.

We take training seriously and we take our time over it. There is no target on you from week one. You learn the market, you learn the process, and you build a desk properly, because a consultant who understands their market bills for years and one who was rushed does not.

You also start warm. You inherit an established database of more than 100,000 pre vetted contacts and live client relationships, so your first week is conversations, not cold dialing.

What you will earn:

Uncapped commission from your first placement, paid monthly, rising to 50 percent. No threshold to clear once you are through ramp.

Realistic first year earnings are £40,000 to £50,000 on target, and there is no ceiling above that.

Progression is published. Eight levels from Consultant to Managing Director with written criteria, and you move up on performance rather than time served.
