Trainee Recruitment Consultant: AI Infrastructure

Liverpool Street | 3 days in office 2 WFH | £29k to £32k base + uncapped commission

Break into recruitment in one of tech's hottest sectors

Recruitment is one of the most lucrative careers a driven graduate or career-changer can walk into. There's no ceiling on earnings, no dependence on a degree in a specific subject, and fast progression for people who perform. My client is where you'd want to do it.

My client is a specialist recruitment business built around AI infrastructure: the Golang, Kubernetes, cloud-native, and adjacent technical markets (blockchain, Rust) powering the AI boom. It's one of the fastest-growing, best-connected corners of the tech sector, and demand for talent here isn't slowing down any time soon. That means a genuinely future-proofed market to build a career in, not a trend that fades in two years.

Join at exactly the right moment

My client is a lean, high-performing team of 12, on track for around £3m in revenue this year, and about to scale to a 25-person agency over the next 24 months. New leadership, new systems, and a new Grade A office in Central London landing in October: the foundations are freshly in place, and the next phase of growth hasn't happened yet.

That's the opportunity. Join now and you're one of the people this growth story gets built around.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Learn from a leadership team that's genuinely respected in the sector

You'll be trained by experienced recruiters who are well known and well regarded in the technical recruitment space, not shadowing a script, but getting real, hands-on coaching from people who've built successful desks and careers in this exact market. Their recent trainees prove the model works: one who joined them from hospitality is already progressing toward Managing Consultant; another has had three promotions in two years. Where you start here isn't where you stay, if you are driven, intelligent, understand that hard work reaps rewards and are genuinely motivated to build a long term, lucrative and successful career for yourself, you can do that here.

Recruitment, powered by AI

This isn't old-school, cold-calling-and-spreadsheets recruitment. My client is AI-native by design: automation, AI-assisted sourcing, and integrated systems run through everything we do. You'll be working at the front edge of how AI is reshaping the recruitment industry itself, while placing people into the AI infrastructure companies defining the next decade of tech.

What you'll get

  • £29k to £32k base salary (dependent on experience)
  • Uncapped commission: the top bracket is 50% with an excellent sourcing bonus in place for new starters
  • Vitality health and dental cover from day one
  • International travel: conferences and client dinners in cities like San Diego, Chicago, Berlin, Brussels and New York
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the Central London office, 2 days remote
  • Structured progression, hands-on manager support, and a genuine path to management
