Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Base Salary: £30k
OTE Year 1: £50k
Location: London
The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
This company is the leading recruitment firm in the finance sector, dominating the industry by building long-lasting relationships with the most entrusted finance professionals in the market. By keeping rapport, they can bill higher fees than most, with their top biller doing 6 figures. The earning potential in this industry is huge, so you could be taking home £100k+ in just a few years. Our client is looking to expand their team so that they can branch out into the US market and build out their office in New York!
The Incentives – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- 40% commission with no threshold
- Year 1 OTE – £50k; Year 2 – £70k
- Quick progression – First promotion within 6 months (+ a pay rise!)
- One-to-one training from the Managing Director
- Classroom lessons with the top biller in business
- WFH Wednesday
- Fridays finish at 2pm
- Brand new office with a gym and table tennis

The Role – Graduate Recruitment Consultant
- Become a specialist recruiter in Finance space, specifically within Hedge Funds and Investment Banking
- Build your own business and bring on new clients
- Negotiate the terms
- Consult them on the market and their hiring plans
- Source candidates and screen them via cold calling, advertising and networking
- Organise interviews and prep them for success
- Secure an offer and make a placement
The Ideal Profile – Graduate Recruitment Consultant
- 2:1 or above from a top university (graduating 2025)
- A 2024 graduate with commercial experience or went travelling
- Minimum BBB at A-Level
- Sports background played to a high level– Hockey, rugby, football, netball, tennis
- Strong people skills – talkative and outgoing
- Financially motivated – keen to work towards targets and gain commission for successes
- Hard working – will stay resilient and won’t give up
