TRM are working with a Manchester-based recruitment start-up specialising in US technology recruitment, and they’re looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the team.
The earning potential is already being demonstrated by the team we placed a graduate who joined in March and is now about to receive an £8,000 commission cheque.
No recruitment experience is required. You’ll be trained from scratch and will be working across the US technology market, speaking with senior professionals and businesses across America.
What does the role involve?
In simple terms, recruitment is a sales role built around relationships.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building relationships with businesses across the US technology market
- Speaking with senior technology professionals and understanding their hiring requirements
- Sourcing and approaching candidates for your roles
- Managing the recruitment process from initial conversation through to placement
- Developing your own network of clients and candidates
- Working towards individual and team revenue targets

You’ll need to be:
- Confident speaking to people and comfortable picking up the phone
- Competitive and motivated by earning potential
- Resilient and willing to work hard to build a career
- Commercially minded and interested in developing relationships with senior professionals
Previous sales experience is useful, but attitude and commercial ability are more important than having recruitment experience.
There are some evening calls involved because you're working with the US market.
The company is looking for someone who can start immediately.
