The Selling Points of the Company - Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Leading finance recruitment firm, focusing on Private Equity and Hedge Funds
  • Boutique firm which allows you to get to know all your colleagues really well
  • One-to-one training by the Managing Director
  • Average fees are around £120k
  • Commission of 40% with no threshold allowing you to take home a good chunk of this
  • Hiring 3 fresh faces so you’ll not be the only newbie!

The Perks - Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • £28k base with an increase to £35k after promotion
  • OTE – Year 1 = £50k

The Job Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Business Development: Understanding who the top businesses are, bringing them on as clients, and building lasting relationships
  • Consulting: Ensuring you keep up to date with market trends and conditions so you can advise people
  • Candidate Sourcing: Networking, headhunting, cold calling, LinkedIn and advertising
  • Interview Management: Organizing interviews between candidates and clients, preparing candidates for some of the harder interview questions and giving them detailed feedback
  • Negotiation: Negotiating deal sizes with your clients, as well as suitable contracts for your candidates at the offer stage

The Ideal Profile for this Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Ideally degree educated with a 2:1 or above
  • Experience in a customer or client facing role
  • Financial drive and keen to earn good money quickly
  • Confident and articulate when speaking to top professionals
