Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No recruitment experience? That's OK.

We're not looking for someone who already knows how recruitment works.

We're looking for someone with the right attitude and potential.

  • Confident – you're happy speaking to candidates and clients
  • Commercially minded – you're interested in sales and earning potential
  • Organised – you can manage multiple priorities
  • Competitive – you enjoy having targets and measuring your performance
  • Personable – building genuine relationships comes naturally to you
  • Hungry to learn – you want to develop and progress

What does progression look like?

This isn't a role where you're expected to stay a Trainee Consultant indefinitely.

You'll have a clear opportunity to progress into a Recruitment Consultant position by demonstrating consistent high performance.

Progression is based on what you achieve, including:

  • Revenue generated
  • Quality of your work
  • Candidate and client relationships
  • New business generated
  • Conversion rates
  • Your ability to manage the full recruitment process
  • Consistently hitting and exceeding targets
