Permanent | Hybrid working following initial training
Ambitious? Commercially minded? Ready to build something of your own?
MCS Group is looking for driven people with the potential to become exceptional recruitment consultants.
You do not need recruitment experience. You do need confidence, curiosity, resilience and the willingness to pick up the phone. We want people who learn quickly, act on feedback and want their progression and earnings to reflect their performance.
Let's be clear: recruitment is a sales career.
You will develop new business, build influential relationships and become an expert in a specialist market. You will hear "no", face setbacks and be expected to keep moving. In return, you can build a highly rewarding career with one of Northern Ireland's leading recruitment businesses.
We will provide the training, coaching, technology and market knowledge. You need to bring the hunger, attitude and work ethic.
What you will do
- Speaking to candidates, clients and prospective customers every day
- Generating leads through calls, email, LinkedIn and networking
- Building relationships with professionals and business leaders
- Identifying commercial opportunities and developing new business
- Sourcing, interviewing and representing high-quality candidates
- Advising clients on talent, salaries and hiring decisions
- Managing recruitment processes from first conversation to successful offer
- Working towards clear performance and revenue targets
- Taking ownership of your development and results
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The mindset we hire for
- Hungry: You want to achieve more and will work for it.
- Confident: You are comfortable starting conversations and using the phone.
- Curious: You ask questions and want to understand people and businesses.
- Coachable: You seek feedback and quickly put it into practice.
- Resilient: You can handle rejection and bounce back from setbacks.
- Commercial: You recognise opportunities and understand that results matter.
- Accountable: You take ownership rather than waiting to be chased.
- Competitive but ethical: You want to win-and do it in the right way.
You may come from sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or another target-driven environment. You could also be a graduate or placement student with strong commercial potential.
Experience is useful. Mindset is essential.
Learn fast. Perform. Progress.
From your first day, you will receive structured training in recruitment, sales, business development, technology and your specialist market.
You will learn through workshops, coaching, live calls and regular feedback from experienced recruiters and leaders. You will be supported-but expected to take responsibility for your own learning and performance.
As your capability grows, so will your responsibilities, career opportunities and earning potential.
