£27,000 basic salary + uncapped commission
About the Role
Maxwell Bond is growing, and we're looking for ambitious, driven people to join us as Trainee Recruitment Consultants.
You don't need previous recruitment experience. We're looking for people with the attitude, resilience, communication skills, and ambition to build a successful career in recruitment.
Recruitment is a fast-paced, people-focused career where you'll develop strong commercial, sales, and relationship-building skills while working with some of the UK's most exciting technology businesses.
At Maxwell Bond, we specialise in Technology & GTM recruitment, partnering with startups, scale-ups, and established businesses across the UK. You'll work with founders, senior technology leaders, and professionals across markets including software, data, product, cyber security, and infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn how to manage the full recruitment process while building your own network and market expertise.
You'll be:
- Building relationships with candidates across the AI and Data markets
- Sourcing and identifying talent for live vacancies
- Using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking to find candidates
- Speaking with candidates to understand their experience, motivations, and career goals
- Managing interviews, feedback, and the recruitment process
- Writing engaging job adverts and candidate outreach
- Developing your own market knowledge and professional network
- Working closely with clients to understand their hiring requirements
- Learning the commercial and sales side of recruitment and how to win new business

Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, estate agency, or recruitment is beneficial, but absolutely not essential.
