Description
Start your career with Network Plus Are you looking for a practical, hands-on trainee role where you can learn a trade, gain real site experience and develop your skills on the job? We’re looking for Trainee Reinstatement Operatives to join our team and help restore roads, footpaths and surfaces after essential utility works have been completed. This is a great opportunity to build practical trade skills, learn from experienced colleagues and start a long-term career in the utilities sector with a supportive team behind you.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning how to safely reinstate roads, footpaths and other surfaces after utility works
- Preparing work areas, mixing and laying materials, compacting surfaces and completing finished reinstatement work
- Supporting safe site set-up, including signing, guarding and keeping work areas tidy
- Using hand tools, equipment and small plant safely under supervision
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality work for customers and local communities

Experience and Qualifications
- You enjoy practical, outdoor work and are happy working in all weathers
- You’re reliable, punctual and willing to learn from experienced colleagues
- You take safety seriously and can follow instructions carefully
- You take pride in your work
- You work well in a team and communicate clearly
- A full UK driving license is essential
