The successful applicant will be employed by Clúid Housing for a period of two years and be required during the two years to attend a course of study which will enable them to obtain a PSRA license.
Working as part of the Housing Services team within the wider Operations Team, the successful candidates will assist in the provision of a high quality housing management service to tenants on our housing schemes. A strong commitment to the Trainee programme and a desire to pursue a career in Housing is essential.
Applicants could be post graduates from a number of academic routes. Where required, the successful candidates may undertake a small number of top up modules, funded by Clúid, to ensure their knowledge and skills meet PSRA level standards. For applicants without sufficient academic experience, a structured two year distance learning programme, funded by Clúid, will provide the additional learning required to reach PSRA level competence. While the licence itself is not mandatory, the programme ensures all trainees develop the knowledge and skills expected at that professional standard. Additional certification courses will also underpin the students learning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
