Relay Direct is one of the UK’s fast-growing face-to-face sales and marketing companies, proudly partnered with some of the biggest and most recognized brands in the country. We are looking for a Trainee Sales Consultant who is ready to learn, grow, and build a serious sales career from the ground up.
You do not need to arrive with years of experience. Our training is designed to help you understand the full customer journey—from making a confident introduction and discovering a customer’s needs to presenting the right solution and asking for the sale. You will gain experience across B2B, B2C, and event campaigns while receiving ongoing coaching from the team.
What will you learn and deliver?
- Build rapport with prospective customers in person
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable campaign offerings
- Develop product knowledge, objection-handling, and closing skills
- Maintain accurate customer and campaign information
- Use coaching feedback to strengthen results week by week

What could make you a strong match?
- A confident and approachable communication style
- Resilience and a constructive response to feedback
- A genuine interest in sales and personal development
- Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or sport is useful but not essential
Training and development
- Campaign and product training before representing a client
- Coaching on communication, questioning, objection-handling, and closing
- Regular performance reviews with clear, practical actions for improvement
- A merit-based pathway towards mentoring, leadership, and campaign responsibility

What you can expect
- Structured training, regular workshops, and one-to-one coaching

- Performance-based earnings with on-target earnings (OTE) of £27,000–£32,000
The role includes on-site reporting in Watford and field-based customer engagement. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

- Schedule: Full-time | Monday - Friday
- Availability: Immediate availability preferred
