This is not your ordinary car sales role. This is your chance to shine as an individual and have the free rein to be yourself, demonstrate your accomplished customer service skills, and thrive in an environment that allows you to live each working day to the full.
As a Trainee Sales Executive, you will be a valued team member committed to delivering customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. You will make each Cars2 customer feel valued, accompanying them on their journey to find their next car, all whilst contributing towards making Cars2 the Number One Motor Group.
Why Cars2?
We Are Employee-Owned.
Cars2 is one of Yorkshire’s fastest-growing and most profitable independent dealer groups. Across our 18 franchise sites and 8 brands, we are large enough to dominate the market but small enough to genuinely care about our people.
Best of all, Cars2 is part of a government employee ownership scheme (EOT). This means when the business succeeds, you benefit directly. It’s a unique structure that fosters a truly collaborative, rewarding, and supportive culture you won't find at standard corporates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
