Trainee Sales Manager | £25,000 + Performance Incentives
Most sales jobs promise "progression" and never deliver on it. This one is different. If you're looking for a genuine, structured route from your first sales conversation to leading and building your own team, this is worth reading properly.
We're looking for someone ambitious and coachable to join us as a Trainee Sales Manager. This is a career-defining opportunity for someone who wants more than a job title. You'll start on the front line, learning our face to face sales systems hands on, before progressing into a leadership role where you'll train, develop, and scale a team of your own.
About the Role
This role is built around a simple principle: you can't lead a sales team effectively until you've mastered the craft yourself. You'll begin by learning our proven face to face sales approach directly from experienced managers who will mentor you through both the theory and the practical reality of selling. This isn't a case of being handed a script and sent out the door. You'll receive genuine, ongoing coaching covering the psychology of sales, objection handling, relationship building, and how to consistently close in a face to face setting.
Once you've built a solid foundation and demonstrated your ability, you'll begin taking on responsibility for training and developing others. You'll work closely with senior management to learn what it takes to build a high performing team, including how to coach individuals, manage performance, run team meetings, and set targets that stretch people without burning them out.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
