Trainee Sales Manager | Watford | £25k–35k OTE + Uncapped Commission
Ambition isn’t a qualification. It’s a starting point.
Want a career where your development, income and opportunities aren’t limited by how long you’ve been in the job?
The Atlas Collective is growing, and we’re looking for ambitious, competitive and hardworking people who want to develop real commercial skills, build confidence and progress quickly.
You might be a recent graduate looking for your first serious career opportunity.
You might already have a year or two of experience and be ready for a role where your performance has a more direct impact on your progression and earnings.
Either way, if you’re driven, coachable and willing to put in the work, we want to meet you.
No previous sales experience is required. Full training is provided.
What you’ll actually do
You’ll work directly with customers through face-to-face sales and customer acquisition campaigns, representing some of the UK’s biggest brands.
From day one, you’ll learn how to:
- Start conversations confidently with new customers
- Build genuine rapport and understand customer needs
- Present products and services effectively
- Handle questions and objections
- Generate and convert sales
- Work towards individual and team targets
- Analyse your performance and identify areas to improve
- Develop your communication, negotiation and commercial skills
You’ll be given structured training and ongoing coaching — but you’ll also be expected to take ownership of your development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
