Role Description
The Trainee Security Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in London and the South East.
- Day-to-day tasks include assisting senior engineers with the installation, configuration, and testing of electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
- The role involves learning how to read technical drawings, follow system designs, and support commissioning and handover of projects to clients.
- The trainee will help with routine maintenance, basic fault-finding, and documentation while adhering to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- The position includes on-the-job training, working closely with experienced engineers and project teams to develop competencies in integrated security solutions.

Qualifications
- Understanding or strong interest in Systems Engineering and Systems Design for electronic security solutions.
- Minimum 3 GCSE's Grade 9-4 (A-C) must include Math's and English.
- Relevant technical education or apprenticeship (e.g., electrical/electronic engineering, IT, or related discipline) is beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site at customer locations, with a focus on safety, professionalism, and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions and industry regulations.
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work both within a team and independently under supervision.
- Full UK driving license is an advantage.
