We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Service Advisor to join our growing family.
Role Overview
As a Trainee Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their vehicle servicing and repair needs are efficiently managed. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the automotive industry within a supportive and friendly environment. You will work closely with our service and workshop teams to help deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Understand and accurately record customer requirements for vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Liaise between customers and the workshop team to schedule and coordinate vehicle work.
- Provide clear and timely updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
- Prepare and process service orders, invoices, and related documentation.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of service history and customer interactions.
- Support the Service Advisor team and gain hands-on experience in service administration.
- Develop product knowledge to offer appropriate advice and recommendations.
- Contribute to achieving service department targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Person Specification
- Passion for the automotive industry and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Basic IT skills and comfortable using computer systems and software.
- Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred.
