CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
SALARY: £17,000 - £32,000

Job Summary
At GRAHAM, we are committed to developing future talent. As our Interior Fit-Out Division continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Site Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland.
Working alongside experienced Site Managers and project teams, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across Northern Ireland and the UK. Our projects span a variety of sectors, including commercial workplaces, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail, and public sector environments.
You'll develop practical experience in site coordination, health and safety management, programme delivery, quality assurance, subcontractor management, and client liaison. Working on fast-paced projects from pre-construction through to handover, you'll learn how fit-out projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects from site set-up through to completion and handover.
- Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to achieve programme milestones.
- Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site.
- Assist with the management of materials, plant, logistics, and site operations.
- Monitor project progress and support the successful delivery of works within programme and budget requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
- Support project close-out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, and client handover.
- Attend project meetings and site inspections while developing an understanding of fit-out construction methodologies and project delivery.

Requirements:
Technical Competencies
Essential
- Willingness to undertake a relevant Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Surveying, or a related built environment discipline.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Keen interest in construction, project delivery, and interior fit-out.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel and work across the UK and Republic of Ireland as project requirements dictate.
Desirable:
- An appreciation of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous exposure to the construction, fit-out, or refurbishment sector through work experience, placements, or a trade background.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- CSCS Card.
