You will be based within the Commercial & Litigation section of Legal Services, dealing predominantly with legal Adult Social Care (ASC) work which is an important role in assisting the ASC Team to meet its legal obligations and safeguard vulnerable adults. In addition, you will be expected to assist in other areas of the team when required. You will carry a caseload which will provide an opportunity to learn quickly and build a specialism in this area. You will be supervised by a supportive manager and have the benefit of flexible working arrangements.

This is a secondment opportunity which is only available to existing ESCC employees. Please review the Secondment Policy for more information.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, confidently and accurately
  • Analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work flexibly and to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Able to contribute to the work of a team and to work well with both legal and support staff.
  • Ability to learn effectively and put learning into practice quickly.
