FM Conway Trainee Supervisor Opportunity
FM Conway is looking to recruit a Trainee Supervisor to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Chelsfield.
About the Role
As our Trainee Supervisor you will learn how to run a busy recycling depot from the current supervisor, ordering parts, supporting a day and night team, looking after the team of engineers, allocating payment to customers and being the face of a busy depot. This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract subject to permanent employment at the end of your contract, working Monday- Friday, 07:30am-4:30pm.
Duties
The duties of the Trainee Supervisor role will include:
- Quality control of materials being quick and efficient to spot a problem if one arises
- Support a team across day and night shifts
- Learn the role of the weighbridge
- Organise payment to suppliers to ensure they are paid correctly and on time
- Assist the recycling manager with duties within the depot
- Organising parts with suppliers, raising PO’s and organising fitting when they have arrived on site
- Work closely with the team of engineers to organise maintenance across the depot
- End of month reporting
Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and hold a full UK driving license. To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a team player, with good verbal and written communication skills as well as IT skills.
