We are seeking a motivated and observant Trainee Surveillance Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in surveillance, investigations, and security operations. You will become responsible for protection of Company assets and safeguarding operational licences, by ensuring requirements under the Gambling Act 2005, Licensing Act 2003 and other relevant legislation and guidance are complied with.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV across gaming floors, cash handling areas, entrances, and other sensitive locations.
- Observe gaming activities to identify potential cheating, fraud, theft, collusion, or breaches of gaming procedures.
- Assist in protecting company assets, customers, and employees by identifying and reporting suspicious or unusual behaviour.
- Support investigations by reviewing surveillance footage and gathering relevant evidence when required.
- Work closely with operational departments, the security team, and management to ensure compliance with casino policies and procedures.
- Monitor customer and staff activity to promote a safe, secure, and responsible gaming environment.
- Operate and maintain surveillance systems, ensuring equipment is functioning effectively and any faults are reported promptly.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality requirements regarding surveillance operations and sensitive information.
- Stay up to date with gaming regulations, internal controls, and surveillance best practices through ongoing training and development.

What We're Looking For
- Hold a current PFL
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration for extended periods.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- The ability to remain calm and objective when reviewing incidents.
- A high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Good written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by casino operations.
- One year of casino experience would be an advantage.
