Trainee Trader
circa £25,000
Office based in Leatherhead
Shift rotation
Purpose of the Role:
- Works as an integral part of the Trading team in all aspects to deliver to our clients and provide a superior user experience of the platform
- You will gain insights from market and industry analyses, customer behavioural research and consider the rapidly changing technological landscape
- You will be required at times to work collaboratively on sales trading, customer implantation, legal and development and will be comfortable engaging with customers in order to understand requirements and to provide customer support
- You will cover the Trading desk as part of your daily duties
Job Description:
- Develop relationships with customers and internal teams to effectively support day-to-day support queries
- Participate in technical pre-sales meetings with potential customers to sell products and services
- Produce content including documentation and presentations, both at a non-technical and technical level
- Engage with customers, sometimes face-to-face, to gather requirements, to identify product improvement opportunities
- Monitor the competitive landscape to understand market opportunities and trends, products and commodity markets
- Analyse product usage statistics and patterns to identify product improvement opportunities, which increase customer engagement and promote repeat product usage

Person Specification:
- Ideally educated in relevant academic field or studying towards a degree in relevant academic field
- High degree of integrity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work autonomously coupled with a desire to learn
- A desire to work in a collaborative fast paced, dynamic and high growth technical environment
- A natural problem solver coupled with being highly motivated
- Excellent at follow-up, a team player with the ability to deliver within defined timeframes
- Willing to travel periodically, sometimes internationally, based on customer and business

- Fluency in spoken and written Arabic
Additional Information:
- Circa £25,000
- Office based in Leatherhead
- Free parking
- 5 day working week, Sunday to Friday (Saturday leave plus an additional day)
- Shift work – rota; 6am - 3pm, 7am – 4pm, 8am – 5pm
- 35 days holiday as public holidays, Christmas and New Year are worked
