A growing manufacturing company in Mildenhall is looking for a Trainee Welder to join their fabrication team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on, workshop or factory experience who is keen to learn a skilled trade.
Full MIG welding training will be provided on-site, with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress into a long-term welding career.
Trainee Welder Duties
- Training in MIG welding techniques
- Preparing metal components ready for welding
- Learning to read technical drawings and work instructions
- Carrying out basic welding under supervision
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely
- Supporting the fabrication team with day-to-day tasks
- Keeping the work area clean and following Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For
- Previous workshop, factory or hands-on experience
- An interest in welding and fabrication
- Comfortable using basic hand and mechanical tools
- Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Willing to learn and take instruction
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethic
