Trainee Domestic Appliance Engineer / White Goods Engineer (Field Based)

Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £350 per day earning potential

Job Type: Self-employed | Full-time or part-time available

Overview

We are recruiting a Trainee Domestic Appliance Engineer (White Goods Engineer) to join Pacifica on a self-employed basis.

No previous white goods experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically or electrically minded individuals looking to start a long-term career in field engineering with strong earning potential.

You will receive full training and ongoing support while building your own self-employed business.

Responsibilities

  • Attend customer homes to diagnose and repair domestic appliances
  • Repair appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, ovens, fridge freezers and microwaves
  • Deliver high levels of customer service at all times
  • Manage your own workload and daily schedule
  • Work independently in a field-based role
  • Complete repairs safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own car or van suitable for carrying tools and parts
  • Mechanically or electrically minded
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
  • Public liability insurance
  • Right to work in the UK on a self-employed basis
