Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
What will you be doing?
Workforce Reporting & Analytics
- Support the production of regular and ad hoc workforce reports, dashboards and management information.
- Assist with the extraction, cleansing, validation and maintenance of workforce data from multiple systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of workforce reporting trackers, databases and datasets.
- Assist in analysing workforce data to identify trends, insights and opportunities.
- Help ensure workforce data remains accurate, consistent and up to date.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations and workforce insights for managers and stakeholders.
Reporting & Digital Solutions
- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Assist with data modelling, dataset management and dashboard enhancements.
- Help create and maintain reporting tools using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the development of Power Automate workflows and process automation solutions.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting and improving reporting and automation tools.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Microsoft Forms and related reporting solutions.

- Provide administrative support to the HR and People team.
- Support the maintenance of employee records and organisational data.
- Assist with workforce administration activities including starters, leavers, transfers and organisational changes.
- Carry out data quality checks and support data cleansing exercises.
- Maintain records in line with GDPR and company policies.
- Support document management and record retention activities.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support workforce, HR and organisational improvement projects.
- Maintain project trackers, action logs and supporting documentation.
- Assist with process mapping and process improvement activities.
- Support the implementation of new reporting, automation and workforce management solutions.
- Contribute ideas that improve reporting quality, efficiency and ways of working.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree qualified, or due to graduate, in a relevant discipline such as Data Analytics or Business Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Power BI and building reporting dashboards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Power Automate and flow creations
- Experience working with large datasets
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present data clearly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
