Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Trainee role based in Farnborough. The Trainee will support experienced team members with day-to-day technical tasks, including assisting with maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing tools and materials
- Following safety procedures
- Documenting work carried out
- Helping keep work areas organized and compliant

The Trainee will learn to interpret basic technical instructions, shadow senior staff on customer visits, and gradually take on more independent tasks under supervision. The role involves regular communication with colleagues and may require occasional interaction with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and develop practical technical skills under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills; ability to complete simple documentation accurately
- Positive, proactive attitude with a reliable and punctual work ethic
- Interest in technical, engineering, or maintenance work; prior hands-on experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work on-site in the south east area, and, where necessary, travel nationally for assignments
- Relevant vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or a technical-related qualification is an advantage but not essential.
