Role Summary
Are you passionate about developing people and sharing your manufacturing expertise? DN Colleges Group is seeking a Trainer Assessor Manufacturing PMO to support the delivery of high-quality work-based learning programmes across manufacturing and warehousing environments.
Working within the Workforce Development team, you will deliver and assess the Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations qualification, alongside Lean, BIT and Warehouse programmes. You will work closely with learners, employers and colleagues to ensure training is engaging, effective and aligned to industry needs. This role involves travel across North Lincolnshire, the Humber region and South Yorkshire, supporting learners in achieving their potential while maintaining outstanding standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess manufacturing-related training programmes to individuals and groups of learners.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with employers and support business development activities.
- Provide pre-course and on-course guidance to learners, including interviews and programme placement.
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning programmes in line with College, awarding body and funding requirements.
- Conduct learner reviews, assessments and verification activities to support achievement and progression.
- Complete learner administration, record keeping and reporting accurately and on time.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities, course reviews, self-assessment and curriculum development.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.
- Participate in team meetings, staff development and continuous professional development activities.
- Support the achievement of recruitment and performance targets where appropriate.

Essential Criteria
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Relevant industrial or manufacturing experience.
- Thorough understanding of quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication, engagement and learner support skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and effectively use digital systems and technology.
Benefits For Working For DN Colleges
- Salary: Grade 5, £33,787 to £42,766 per annum.
- Permanent position.
- 35.5 hours per week.

Important Things to Note
In DN Colleges we call this role Trainer Assessor Manufacturing PMO but you might know this as Manufacturing Trainer, Manufacturing Assessor, Manufacturing Skills Coach, Industrial Trainer Assessor or Production Operations Trainer.
- The role involves working across employer sites within North Lincolnshire, the Humber region and South Yorkshire.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this position.
