About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, engaging Trainer to deliver The Career Elevation Masterclass, an advanced Level 2 professional development course. This is a 4-week intensive programme combining hybrid delivery (online and face-to-face) to develop sophisticated professional competencies in communication, career management, and workplace excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing engaging learning experiences, facilitating diverse cohorts, and ensuring all learners achieve their professional development goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver all four weeks of course content across four modules: Building Confidence & Study Skills, Professional Skills & Career Readiness, Advanced Confidence & Communication, and Career Enhancement & Professional Communication
- Facilitate hybrid learning through both face-to-face classroom sessions and online platform delivery, ensuring seamless integration between modes
- Design and deliver engaging workshops, activities, and practical demonstrations across all four content areas: self-awareness, professional communication, career development, and workplace mastery
- Embed Safeguarding & Prevent (1 GLH), ESOL Components 1 & 2 (2 GLH), and Math for Life (2 GLH) throughout the course naturally and effectively
- Assess learner progress through formative feedback, practical demonstrations, portfolio development, and mock interviews, providing constructive guidance
- Create and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes growth mindset
- Support learners with varying English language backgrounds, adapting delivery to ensure professional English development
- Manage online platform interactions, respond to learner queries, and provide timely feedback on assignments and exercises
- Track and report on learner progress, engagement, and achievement against course objectives

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in professional training, adult education, career coaching, or related field
- Proven track record of delivering engaging, outcomes-focused training programmes to diverse adult cohorts
- Strong expertise in professional development, career management, communication skills, or workplace learning
- Experience with hybrid delivery models combining online and face-to-face learning
- Competency in using learning management platforms and virtual meeting tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with ability to engage and motivate learners
- Understanding of Level 2 vocational learning and competency-based assessment frameworks
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one (due to Safeguarding & Prevent delivery)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements
- Experience teaching ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or supporting multilingual learners
- Background in career guidance, recruitment, or HR
- Experience with portfolio-based assessment and formative feedback frameworks
- Knowledge of Safeguarding & Prevent principles and delivery experience
- Qualifications in training, coaching, or adult education (PGCE, Level 3+ Training or Coaching, etc.)
- Experience with financial literacy or numeracy in professional contexts

Working Arrangement
4-week intensive contract (full-time equivalent). Flexible scheduling accommodating both online asynchronous and scheduled synchronous delivery. Daytime face-to-face sessions and evening online sessions (mix to be determined). Hybrid working with access to learning management platform required.
