Description
Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.
We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!
Who we are
You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.
The Living Wage Foundation’s statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

"We have incredible experiences in our business in the hair lab and spa, and we want to learn from these expert hairdressers and spa therapists to broaden out from consultations and demos, and embrace our ability to create a full experience for our customers. We know that our parties have been growing from strength to strength, so this year we are launching more 'on the shop floor' experiences, some to sell and some for free, all in our efforts to have customer service good enough to leave the house for!" -Claire Constantine, Group Retail Director
Training’s aim
Help people fall in love with the products and the brand.
To inspire and empower Retail staff globally to be Experts, Storytellers, and Daymakers for the customers and each other.
"The single most environmental thing that we can all do is to ensure that the right product ends up in the hands of the right person. In order to successfully achieve this goal, we will offer an especially diverse set of products. These will be selected based on our customers' needs rather than Lush’s sales figures, ensuring through our whole company we ourselves understand what needs our products solve, in order to make certain that every customer is introduced to the right product for them. Staff are empowered and inspired to be experts, daymakers and story-tellers, providing tailored, attentive consultations that personally connect our customers to our products."
