Job Description Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
The Training & Communications Leader, ITC is responsible for establishing and leading the strategy for ITC learning, capability development, and communications. Reporting to the newly established Senior Director – Program & Operations, ITC and working in partnership with the Central Compliance organization, this role serves as a strategic partner to ITC leadership, business leaders, and site stakeholders to strengthen organizational capability, promote accountability, and embed trade compliance into business operations and decision-making.
The Senior Leader will:
- Establish and lead a comprehensive development strategy for the ITC organization to strengthen technical expertise and organizational readiness.
- Establish a risk-based, role-specific training framework that translates compliance requirements into bespoke learning solutions tailored to the unique operational environments, risk profiles, and needs of individual sites and business units.
- Lead an integrated communications strategy that drives awareness, adoption, and engagement of compliance priorities across the enterprise.
- Establish governance and measures to assess learning effectiveness and sustained improvements in organizational capability.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience
- Associates degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in compliance training, learning and development, communications, international trade compliance, or a related discipline

- Experience developing enterprise-wide learning or communications strategies within a complex global organization
- Proven strategic thinking with the ability to align learning, communications, and development strategies to regulatory requirements, business priorities, and long-term organizational goals.
- Experience developing risk-based and role-based learning programs that strengthen technical proficiency, knowledge transfer, and sustained organizational capability
- Strong program management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive measurable outcomes
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication capabilities including the ability to translate complex regulatory and technical concepts into clear, actionable messaging and learning solutions tailored for diverse audiences and levels of the organization
- Strong collaboration and change management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and support adoption of new processes and ways of working
Compensation and Benefits
- The base pay range for this position is $155,000 - $206,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
- This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
