Job Description
Make your mark as a Training and Competency Coordinator
Gardline has an opportunity to join our Training Team.
As a Training and Competency Coordinator at Gardline you will be primarily responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Training & Competency function to ensure the provision of targeted training and competency management.
This position also supports Crewing Operations within Gardline with regards to Certification training and eLearning requirements, as such the role works closely with both T&C and Crewing Teams.
This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to varying workflow volumes. A certain level of autonomy is expected as the teams supported by this role may not always be at the same location.

Your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
- Monitor the shared mailbox actioning correspondence and responding to personnel within an appropriate timescale
- Training bookings and issuance of joining instructions to delegates
- Issuance of Training Certification for all Training undertaken both internally and externally
- Register personnel to the Company eLearning via the LMS for courses relevant to their role (Onshore and Offshore Requirements)
- Track, monitor and record eLearning completions within the LMS and provide reports as required by the T&C Manager
- Assist and support in information gathering and verification of Certification for the issuance of Client Project Matrices
- Provide compliance reports to the Training & Competency Manager when required;
- Record, track and monitor validity periods of training, qualification ensuring that personnel are contacted in a reasonable time prior to expiry
- Record hardcopy training certification ensuring electronic copies are appropriately stored and monitored for authentication and validity
- Provide general administration support to the T&C Manager
- Support the T&C Manager in the management and administration of the Company Competence Management Program and associated Certification
- Compliance with all company SHEQ policies and procedures
- Liaise with Crewing Officers to identify personnel being allocated to upcoming projects and ensure that all Certification is in place prior to mobilisation, highlighting any potential causes for concern in a timely manner

Qualifications
Your Qualities:
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Proven experience as Training Coordinator / HR Assistant / Crewing Administrator or similar role
- Demonstrated ability in managing a variety of administration tasks to a high level in a fast paced and changing environment
- Knowledge of Offshore Industry Training requirements for Training and Competence (Survey Sector) in accordance with O&G UK, HSE, IMCA and industry driven expectations
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to ensure productivity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style to suit audience
- Ability to manage Internal and external stake holders

- Where you will work: Endeavour House, Admiralty Road, Great Yarmouth.
