Summary of vacancy
Health, Safety & Transport Trainer
SUEZ are looking for a Health, Safety and Transport Trainer to design and deliver engaging training programmes, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and use performance data to support continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about developing people, raising safety standards, and shaping innovative learning solutions across the business.
Salary: £37,135 - £43,561
Benefits: up to 10% annual bonus, company car or company car allowance (up to £7,356.10), 5% employer pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (and holiday buy back scheme).
Location: You can be based anywhere in the South East / Central East Region - The role will involve travel across the region including Ashford, Kent, London, and Milton Keynes.
You will be expected to work up to 12 Saturday's per year.
Working Pattern - 37.5 hours per week - Any 5 from 6 (Monday - Saturday)

About The Role
What will I be doing?
- Working with the Health, Safety & Transport Manager, ensuring that the training content, course material and course delivery are of a high standard.
- Arrange and deliver practical and engaging health, safety & transport training.
- Build strong and positive relationship with key stakeholders to ensure full participation and attendance to all training course to raise the safety standards within SUEZ R&R.
- Provide & maintain training data.
- Assist in the analysis of performance data (including incidents) to identify improvements to existing learning approaches and packages.
- Maintaining a professional qualification to deliver Health, Safety and Transport training, and ensure that all training and assessments comply with relevant statutory regulations and internally set guidelines and standards.
- Input into the regular review of policies and procedures which relate to health, safety and transport.
- Review of new technological or digital approaches by the business to determine any adaption to the training needs.

What are the requirements?
- DVLA Cat C Licence (minimum 3 years) and in-date Driver CPC.
- Experience in Transport and/or Health & Safety (training provided in any gaps).
- Previous LGV Instructor/Assessor experience desirable.
- IOSH Managing Safely (or higher), with commitment to further professional development.
- Teaching/training qualification (e.g. PTTLS/NVQ Level 3 Award in Education & Training) or willingness to work towards.
- Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel regionally and occasionally nationally, including overnight stays where required.
