ROLE: Training and Development Partner

HOURS: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent upon skills and experience, plus benefits

Eurocell are a stock market listed Plc and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry. We know that our people are our greatest asset, and we are delighted to be recruiting a Training & Development Partner, focused on partnering with our Manufacturing functions and their respective People Business Partners to develop colleague capability across our Manufacturing, Recycling and Supply Chain functions.

This is a hands-on operational partnering role, focused on enabling managers to develop themselves and their teams by providing expertise, guidance and challenge, and enabling managers to retain ownership whilst embedding a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

What Our Training & Development Partners Do

  • Partner with Team Leaders, Managers and People Business Partners within our Manufacturing functions to identify capability needs and development priorities
  • Take ownership of the full development cycle, from identifying needs through to design, delivery and evaluation of development initiatives
  • Design and facilitate practical development solutions aligned to operational goals
  • Coach Team Leaders and Managers in developing, coaching, and assessing their teams
  • Support the development and review of skills matrices, and SOP's
  • Collaborate with Management Teams to ensure an effective role specific induction, to provide a consistent and engaging experience for all new starters
  • Support Managers with the onboarding and ongoing development of apprentices, helping to ensure a consistent, structured, and engaging learning experience
  • Provide guidance on apprenticeship standards and pathways, helping learners and managers identify the most appropriate development routes to support skills growth, career progression, and organisational capability
  • Report activity and success metrics

What We Need From Our Training & Development Partners

  • Previous experience of learning, training or people development within manufacturing is essential
  • Ability to support several manufacturing sites effectively
  • Strong stakeholder experience, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Depth and breadth of Training and Development knowledge, in order to identify, design and deliver appropriate development initiatives
  • Previous exposure to working in a similar role where there are restrictions due to shift work, and limited development time could be an advantage
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and improvement-focused
  • Tenacious, resilient and able to work with changing priorities
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, with the ability to provide accurate guidance and recommendations to stakeholders could be an advantage
  • A relevant L&D / Training / Development related qualification could be an advantage
