Training and Recruitment Coordinator

Location: Harrogate
Salary: Up to £33,000
Benefits: Company car, 27 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, life assurance and employee benefits
Hours: Full-time, with flexible start/finish times

The Role

Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our client in the search for a Training and Recruitment Coordinator based in Harrogate.

This is a varied role responsible for coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training activity across a large operational workforce. You will work closely with the Training Manager and hiring managers across multiple locations, with travel required approximately 2–3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for operational and technical vacancies.
  • Arrange interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate new starter onboarding and inductions.
  • Support pre-employment processes, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • Work closely with operational and engineering managers on recruitment requirements and interviews.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes.
  • Provide general recruitment and training coordination and administration.

About You

  • Previous recruitment, recruitment coordination or similar experience.
  • Experience within a high-volume or operational recruitment environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively.
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership of recruitment activity.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly between regional sites.
  • Experience recruiting within transport, logistics, engineering, care or another high-volume environment would be beneficial.
