What You’ll Do

  • Design, Coordinate, Deliver and Audit training for the Wimborne site.

  • Establish and Chair Training Steering Group to ensure functional training material meets the required standard and is consistent.

  • Deliver face-to-face Training as well as oversee and audit internal training.

  • Capture live training to create interactive training experiences.

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver training both face to face and virtually.

  • Deliver a strategy to digitalise the shop floor training from live recording to editing and creation of models and interactive training.

  • Identify SMEs and vital familiarisation / product training to create a mix of digital and documented training courses to capture the knowledge. (Co)Deliver training courses once captured.

  • Work closely with functions to establish a positive Training Culture and experience.

  • Attend functional all-hands and first line meetings as required to support the development of training and enforce the importance of specific training courses as well as seeking feedback to help improve the learning experience.

  • Create a Training Calendar for the site that smooths and consolidates training to support manufacturing productivity forecasts.

  • Perform shop floor tours providing visual learning and development. Support the development of a virtual shop floor tour enabling wider education and publication.

  • Capture Field Service Engineer Training and establish a strategy to deliver Customer training courses supporting our products and market growth in services supporting core products.

  • Deliver Insights & change management training.

  • Be the technical specialist to guide training in support of Industry 4.0 and Lighthouse principles.

  • Establish and chair the Training Steering Group, working with key functional training support members.

  • Coach and mentor others to enhance the internal training capability. Take on a Train the Trainer role to ensure site competency.

  • Be the forefront of Training engaging with employees through delivery of regular (monthly) 'Lunch & Learn' events.

  • Take a leading role to ensure visible presence at site events such as World Quality Day, CI week and Ethics Week.

  • Take the lead on categories within site assessments (OpA & Cultural Excellence) and positive engagement in audit (BSI, Layered Process Audits and Internal Audits).

  • Perform training audits, positive interrupters and Gemba monthly to engage with the workforce.

  • Administrative tasks relating to Eaton University Platform and the assignment of audiences based on the HR Management System.

  • Ensure HR & Functions appropriately manage overdue training.

  • Ensure Training records (such as certificates and training contracts) are maintained and documents are captured by HR in personnel files.

  • Support HR with a training plan to complement competency frameworks and development plans.

  • Maintain Training budgets and governance for training bookings.

  • Maintain Training processes and procedures.

  • Understand and ensure compliance against regulatory requirements.

  • HR, Training, Maths and English qualifications desired along with technical skills both in software applications and filming/editing experience.
  • Preferred experience in Training Delivery, Technical Training, Transformation, Change management and CI Mindset, HR or Learning & Development, Coaching and development. Insights or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with working in regulatory training, shop floor training. Understanding of Aerospace or equivalent, designing and developing interactive training courses.
  • Articulate, Engaging, Presentation skills, core values and behaviours, change management.
