Training & Competence (T&C) Compliance Manager – Northampton (on-site) – Up to £65,000

The Role

The Training & Competence (T&C) Compliance Manager is responsible for the development, management, and ongoing delivery of Training & Competence framework, ensuring authorised and regulated individuals are appropriately trained, supervised, assessed, and supported to achieve and maintain the required standards of competence, knowledge, skills, and professional behaviour.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience within Training & Competence, compliance, adviser supervision, or a closely related role within an FCA-regulated financial advice or wealth management business.
  • Detailed understanding of FCA Training & Competence requirements and the practical application of a T&C framework.
  • Strong understanding of the UK financial advice and wealth management sector, including Consumer Duty, Conduct Rules, and professional standards.
  • Experience assessing the competence of financial advisers or other regulated individuals and developing trainees through a structured programme.
  • Experience designing and delivering training and development interventions and assessing both technical knowledge and practical application.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent financial services qualification.
