Training & Compliance Administrator
Location: Office based in Avonmouth, Bristol
Full Time / Permanent Role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

The Role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Training Administrator to join our Training Team who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across training, compliance, auditing, and business support functions.
As Training Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our Training and Compliance divisions by delivering comprehensive administrative support across a wide range of activities. You will be responsible for managing training records, supporting audits, coordinating courses and qualifications, liaising with accreditation bodies, and ensuring our training and compliance systems remain accurate and up to date. This role is key in providing day-to-day administrative support, helping to maintain the efficient operation of the training centre and wider compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Main duties will include:
- Managing training qualification systems and candidate records.
- Processing training requirements and maintaining accurate training records for internal and external delegates.
- Coordinating training programmes, courses, events, and delegate bookings, producing and distributing course joining instructions, resource packs, certificates, and evaluation forms.
- Supporting compliance activities, including pre-qualification questionnaires and requests for information from clients, assisting with internal and external audits and inspections and managing accreditation body portals and ensuring records are updated in a timely manner.
- Maintaining training matrices and monitoring certification renewals.
- Coordinating NVQs and liaising with assessors to arrange inductions and observations.
- Managing purchase orders, invoices, and internal recharge processes.
- Providing administrative support to the QEHS Director, including diary management, customer enquiries, and note/minute taking.
- Supporting communication with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties required to support the successful operation of the business.

About You
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working collaboratively while also taking ownership of their own workload.
Essential Experience
- Minimum of one year's experience in a busy administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with accreditation bodies such as CPCS, NOCN, and NPORS.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
- Experience using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and X for business promotion.
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/Level 4 or above) is essential.
- IOSH Managing Safely, NOCN, NPORS, CPCS or CSCS Trainer qualifications are desirable.

Additional Information
- Occasional travel to other King Lifting offices across the UK may be required to support projects and business activities.
- This role offers excellent exposure to training, compliance, and quality functions within a growing and successful business.
- This is an office-based role, so you will need to live within a daily commutable distance to Avonmouth, Bristol. You must have the right to live and work in the UK.
