STS Aviation Services is hiring a Training & Compliance Administrator in Manchester, United Kingdom, to support employee onboarding, training coordination and regulatory compliance across its aircraft maintenance operations.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate personnel records, coordinating required training and ensuring new starters meet company and regulatory requirements before beginning their duties.
Position Overview
The Training & Compliance Administrator supports onboarding, training administration and compliance activities across all STS Aviation Services bases.
The role works closely with Recruitment, HR, Operations, Training and external organizations to verify qualifications, maintain training records and administer systems including Centrik, CATTs, STS LMS and iHASCO.
Onboarding Responsibilities
- Liaise with Recruitment, HR and external organizations to verify employee qualifications and certificates
- Create and manage new starter profiles in Centrik
- Create and manage new starter profiles in CATTs
- Set up new employees within STS LMS and iHASCO
- Ensure new starters meet all required company and regulatory requirements before commencing duties
- Monitor shared onboarding mailboxes and respond to administrative requirements
Training Coordination Responsibilities
- Monitor employee training records and progression
- Coordinate with Operations and Training teams regarding recurrent training requirements
- Create and distribute induction certificates
- Create and distribute IPT and other training certificates
- Coordinate online and classroom-based training
- Arrange Sofema training courses
- Coordinate Dangerous Goods training
- Maintain training schedules within STS LMS
- Update and administer the STS LMS platform
- Maintain training records across all departments
- Track employee authorizations and approvals
- Monitor shared training mailboxes

Centrik Administration
- Maintain training, authorization and approval records within Centrik
- Update Centrik system configurations according to business requirements
- Maintain accurate employee and compliance information
- Provide first-line support to Centrik users
- Help ensure records remain current and accessible for operational and audit requirements
Compliance Support Responsibilities
- Track employee competency assessments
- Administer and manage company stamps
- Maintain regulated personnel records
- Maintain certifying staff lists
- Control and update revision-managed documentation
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with license applications
- Monitor Read & Sign completion
- Monitor shared compliance mailboxes
- Maintain compliance and safety noticeboards

HR Support Responsibilities
- Support HR with employee retention schemes
- Assist with the administration of bonding agreements
- Help coordinate confined-space medical requirements
Career Development
This role offers opportunities to develop within both training and compliance functions.
Training progression may include developing trainer skills and moving into nontechnical training delivery and course design.
Compliance progression may include supporting license, authorization and recency reviews for certifying engineers in accordance with UK Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
