About Southern Housing

At Southern Housing, our vision is simple yet powerful: to create communities where everyone has a safe home in a place they're proud to live.

We're one of the largest housing providers in the UK, but we're also deeply local. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for an exceptional Training Compliance Manager to help us create a culture where learning drives safety, compliance, performance, and outstanding service for our residents.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Learning, this is a unique and multi-faceted role. You’ll be comfortable wearing many hats; a brilliant learning facilitator, someone who loves compliance learning, and knows how to make it accessible, innovative and most importantly right for the audience. You’ll enjoy motivating a small team and getting out into the business working directly with business leads and teams to get things done.

This is more than a compliance role.

At Southern Housing an amazing culture is key to our success, and in this role, you’ll also work alongside other learning team colleagues to develop, design and deliver cultural learning activities, as well as support the design and delivery of core organisational learning covering many topics from induction, management development, customer service and more.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
