We are BUKO Traffic & Safety

A trusted name in temporary traffic management, bringing together the experience of Road Traffic Solutions (RTS) and Hooke Highways under one united brand. As part of the BUKO Group, a European leader in safety and infrastructure solutions, we have been keeping roads, sites, and people safe for over 20 years.

With more than 300 colleagues across the UK, we deliver thousands of projects every year, from rural works and city-centre schemes to major events and complex infrastructure projects. Our teams combine strong local knowledge with robust operational standards and an unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and service.

Our purpose is simple:

To keep people safe, projects moving, and clients confident - on the road to safety, together.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Training & Compliance Supervisor plays a critical role within Operations, ensuring all traffic management activities are delivered in full compliance with client requirements, LANTRA standards, and HSE legislation.

This is a predominantly site-based role with responsibility for auditing, coaching, and developing Traffic Management Operatives (TMOs), supporting client engagement, and driving continuous improvement in safety, compliance, and operational performance. You will work closely with depot colleagues and central functions including Compliance, Fleet, Finance, and HR.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
