Rate: Competitive per day (Umbrella)

Contract Length: 3 months with a strong possibility of extensions

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant to lead the design, development and delivery of training solutions for a major finance transformation programme. This role will focus on supporting the implementation and adoption of new finance systems, including SAP S/4HANA and contract management applications, ensuring end users are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for a successful transition.

Working closely with programme teams, implementation partners and Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you will develop engaging learning solutions, deliver training to end users and Super Users, and play a critical role in driving business readiness and user adoption ahead of go-live.

This is an excellent opportunity for a training professional with experience in systems implementation, ERP programmes and change initiatives within a finance or regulated business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality training materials and learning solutions to support finance system implementations, including SAP S/4HANA and contract management platforms.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify learning requirements, capability gaps and impacted user groups.
  • Translate complex system functionality, process changes and technical concepts into clear, engaging and user-friendly learning content.
  • Deliver training to end users and Super Users using a blend of learning methods, including classroom-based, virtual and digital training solutions.
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer sessions delivered by implementation partners and cascade knowledge through effective end-user training programmes.
  • Work closely with Finance SMEs and Super Users to validate training content and support knowledge transfer across the business.
  • Develop training plans and schedules aligned to programme milestones, deployment activities and go-live requirements.
  • Create and maintain supporting documentation, including process guides, user manuals, quick-reference materials and job aids.
  • Manage and maintain training content within learning management systems or equivalent learning platforms.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, stakeholder engagement and adoption metrics, implementing improvements where required.
  • Attend project and programme meetings, contributing to discussions that impact learning and business readiness.
  • Provide regular progress updates to programme stakeholders, highlighting achievements, dependencies, risks and readiness activities.
  • Identify and manage training-related risks, escalating issues and recommending mitigation actions where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
