To meet their unique needs we are exceptionally collaborative, working together across teams and time zones. And we are agile – focusing on strategy rather than rigid ideas and traditional hierarchy.

Join us to be part of a team that is always looking to the future. Where initiative, big ideas and bold moves are always encouraged. Where you can truly be yourself.

The Role

Our training contract is designed to provide you with the legal knowledge, practical experience and commercial understanding needed to build a successful career at Withers.

As a trainee solicitor, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of work and clients, while working closely with partners, associates and business services professionals across the firm. You'll be given early responsibility, exposure to high-quality work and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to client matters from the outset.

You will develop an understanding of our clients, our international platform and our collaborative approach to problem-solving, while building the technical and commercial skills required to become a trusted adviser.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
