Role: Training Coordinator Location: Grimsby Type: FTC, 12 months

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To develop, deliver and maintain training and development activities in line with the Hilton Foods Learning and Development strategy. Support sites to ensure colleagues are trained against all safety, legal and customer requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Demonstrate business awareness and develop relationships with departments to anticipate learning needs and plan accordingly
  • Ensure alignment between company objectives and KPI's to learning plans
  • Collaborate with the business and SMEs to determine solutions to a learning need
  • Consult, research and curate appropriate learning options in response to a learning need
  • Support the team to plan/arrange of internal and external training events, including provider relations, raising purchase orders and supporting the entire cycle of delivery
  • Mentor and coach SMEs to guide learning design and delivery
  • Research 'best value' avenues to deliver learning
  • Ensure optimal use of the learning management system ensuring accurate and easily accessible training records and work with the team to ensure timely organising of training, good attendance and concerns escalated.
  • Work with the Learning and Development Manager upskilling the team through coaching and effective training methods. Lead the site training team to support all of these activities.
  • Work with the team to manage the HMRC DAS apprentice account, linking training providers and adding cohort detail.
  • Support the team in providing targeted support for all apprentices, work placements and graduates.
  • Support the putting together of and maintenance of the annual budget/forecast for training and development activities.

KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • A good standard of education
  • Excellent IT skills
  • An excellent level of interpersonal and communication skills
