Position: Training & Development Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40 - $75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Define clear and measurable learning objectives tailored to specific program audiences.
- Design structured learning programs, including the full pathway from objectives to modules, activities, and assessments.
- Create engaging educational content, such as instructional materials, presentations, and resources suitable for digital delivery.
- Develop basic assessment tools (quizzes, rubrics) to effectively measure learner progress and achievement.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders in a remote environment, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Iterate on program design and materials based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Document processes and best practices to support consistent quality and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- Proven expertise in training, instructional design, adult learning, or a related field.
- Strong capability in defining learning outcomes and mapping them to relevant activities and assessments.
- Experience designing and developing educational content for diverse audiences, especially in remote or digital contexts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively in a virtual setting.
- Knowledge of assessment creation, including quizzes and rubrics, to evaluate learning impact.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, learner-centric solutions.
