Our Education & Skills (E&S) team empowers our people and customers through high-quality technical training. We are now seeking a Training & Development Specialist to support the delivery, development, and modernisation of a wide range of our Rail Infrastructure products.
If you’re passionate about developing capability, enjoy working with emerging technologies, and want to shape the future of rail signalling skills, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.
You’ll create impact by:
- Designing, developing, and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility
- Creating and updating course material, including e-learning content, to ensure alignment with new technologies and customer needs
- Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions
- Supporting the senior trainers with the development of responses to project bids
- Championing safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development

Your success will be grounded by…
- HNC in a STEM discipline, or equivalent industrial or engineering experience
- Knowledge of railway or engineering systems, networks, and interfaces
- Experience in developing technical training materials, strategies, and teaching/mentoring others
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in virtual teams
- (Desirable) Experience in Railway signalling systems, signalling control systems, cybersecurity, telecoms, networks, or distributed control networks
