Are you organised, enthusiastic and eager to learn? Do you have an interest in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or business administration?
Horder Healthcare is looking for a Training, Education & Development (TED) Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
As a TED Apprentice, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of learning and development activities across the organisation, helping colleagues access the training they need to provide outstanding care and services. You will receive ongoing guidance, mentoring and practical experience while developing your knowledge of Learning & Development and Human Resources within a healthcare setting.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the TED Team, you will:
- Provide general administrative support to the Training, Education & Development team.
- Monitor and respond to routine enquiries via the TED inbox.
- Assist with organising internal and external training sessions and learning events.
- Help book training rooms, facilities, equipment and trainers.
- Support the administration of training applications and development opportunities.
- Maintain training records and update information on HR and learning systems.
- Assist with producing reports on training activity and attendance.
- Prepare learning materials and resources for training sessions.
- Collect and collate learner feedback and training evaluations.
- Support the administration of mandatory training requirements across the organisation.
- Provide a professional and helpful first point of contact for colleagues seeking training support.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to:

- Gain practical experience in Learning & Development and Human Resources.

- Learn how training programmes are planned, delivered and evaluated.
- Understand confidentiality, data protection and information governance.
- Develop problem-solving, teamwork and prioritisation skills.
- Complete a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Essential requirements:
- Enthusiasm for learning and personal development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and professional customer service approach.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT skills and willingness to develop Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous administration or office experience.
- Interest in Human Resources, Learning & Development or healthcare.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with databases or computerised systems.
- Previous customer-facing experience.
